Bath - City on Show was developed from an idea of a friend who runs Bath in Time, an online archive of Bath photographs taken between 1850 and the 1970s. We wanted to offer the best historical images of the city alongside striking contemporary photos. An authoritative text was written to bind the two image sets together and to provide a fascinating insight into the history of Bath, a World Heritage city renowned for its Roman and Georgian heritage and archaeology.

Eight months later we had completed 128 pages, and had secured sponsorship, a publishing deal with The History Press, official council backing, and an initial 3,000 copy print run. The book was launched in March 2010 and is available throughout Bath in shops, museums and the tourist office, as well as online. It can be purchased here. Delivery is free to the UK, and international orders are welcomed.
