Update (Dec 2014): More than 5,300 copies sold. Thank you to everyone who bought a copy.

Bath - City on Show was developed from an idea of a friend who runs Bath in Time, an online archive of Bath photographs taken between 1850 and the 1970s. We wanted to show the best historical images of the city alongside contemporary photos. An authoritative text was written to accompany the two sets of images and to provide an insight into the history of Bath, a World Heritage city renowned for its Roman and Georgian heritage and archaeology.

Eight months later we had secured sponsorship, a publishing deal with The History Press, official council backing, and an initial 3,000 copy print run. The 128 page book was launched in March 2010 and is available throughout Bath in shops, museums and the tourist office, as well as online here.

44 of my photographs feature in Bath - City on Show.
